Me too.
Maybe the engine needs a mate.
It might be a reference to the kind of motion the car makes at 3600rpm

I'm going to assume the OP is attempting to describe bogging out.
I suggest he perform an exhaust backpressure test, as symptom describes clogged cats.
Like popping and stuttering
Perform the test to rule them out.
Okay, now we can look for what's going on....
First step is going to be reading the BMW specific codes in all the computers, with a BMW specific scan tool. A generic Autozone or other pocket OBD code reader won't do it. This may be an ABS issue, a MAF issue, clogged catalytic convertors, bad coils, or oil in the spark plug holes, or a clogged fuel filter or bad fuel pump..
Don't throw parts at it untill you know what's wrong; and you need to talk to the computers to find out what they know....FIRST.

I'm getting a throttle position code and have ordered the part maybe that'll fix it!?
That probably depends on what BMW-specific scan tool you used to read the codes, and what BMW specialist supplier you ordered "the part" from.
(If you read this code with a generic OBD2 code reader, and ordered a TPS from your local O'Reillys, don't hold your breath. Sorry)
