Hi everybody,
When removing the backseat, I was a little impatient and damaged these 2 plastic covers, witch I now hope
to glasfiber/epoxy fix and then respray it. ( still have the plastic bits that flew away )

So now I need to remove both headrests.. but I don't know how, they seem pretty locked in, and I don't
want to apply to much force to prevent completly chattering those plastic bits..

I tried removing the bolts in red here, it frees up a bracket but that bracket is still very much locked to
the headrest bars...
Does anyone happen to know what to do ? It's a manual headrest, not a power one
( if that even was an option back then )
greets !
or..
Should the rear (non electric) headrest just pull out
and is mine just stuck ?

I have electric headrests in my 750iL, they come out by just pulling

Hey, I stumbled upon your website before, really helpful, thanks !
I'll get some anti seize and carefully try again tomorrow
The manual headrests on my 9/93 build date e32 come out by just pulling them up hard. The plastic cover surrounding the metal headrest plate snaps into the plastic baseplate that is under the headrest at the top of the seat, so the tabs can break if you aren't careful.
