I found this laying on the ground on the drivers side. What is it? Thanks in advance

can we get a size reference using a coin or ruler. I think I know but don't want to guess just yet.
Based on the pic, without clarity and size reference, I'd have to say it looks like a knurled knob that you use to fix a light switch to its base on a lamp. Either push button or rotary.

Ding Ding Ding.......Winner winner chicken dinner! Ruskii I think you won. Last night I went through all my steps i was careful not to lose anything and keep what goes where together. But when I went to remove the drivers side guide it was completely missing not just a piece missing but the whole entire guide. The chain was just sitting on the pins that hold the guide in place. It worried me to the point I would be amazed if I can bring her back to life. She was running when I parked her 6 months ago I'm just hoping all goes well and she fires up. Here are some pictures of the damage done by the chain.

Ohhhh Snap I was just looking at the photos and upon close inspection of the third pic background my motor mount is toast. Gotta get some ordered. Well that makes for a new thread.
And the saga continues.......
