I just put new rims and tires on my 1995 m3. I have rolled the fenders but I think I have to put some camber into the rear. I have attached a picture of the underneath the car. I purchased this car with these on, can I adjust them for some camber? How do I go about doing this? Any input would be very helpful!IMG_2006.JPG
so will the top come in at all?
do I turn the top or the bottom nut? Sorry for the questions!
Adding camber will also add toe-in. Bring it to a shop with an alignment rack to adjust properly
Right. You can do quick and dirty adjustment at home, but if you want everything right for long-term performance and tire wear you should take it to a shop with an alignment rack.
The rear suspension on these cars is such that ride height, camber, and toe are all interconnected in certain ways. Changing ride height will add/remove camber as well as slightly alter toe, and changing camber will also slightly alter toe.
