2004 bmw 330ci randomly smoking from exhaust coupling

my 2004 bmw 330ci will randomly smoke from the left side of the car. I looked under the car today and noticed it is coming from the exhaust coupling under the car. I will try and include a picture of the problem area. Has anyone had a similar problem and if so possible fixes. I am at a loss because it doesn't happen all the time and it seems random.

The gasket between the exhaust manifolds and the exhaust system need to be replaced. It won’t be cheap as the bolts will need to be replaced. They’re $20 each as they are made if a very expensive steel
alloy.

Your valve cover gasket is probably leaking. The rear of the gasket seems to go first, sporadically dripping oil onto the exhaust.
