Hello all,
I have a 318ti with Bilsteins and H&R Lowering springs. The ride is comfortable and handles well, but the car is way too low, especially for my uses. I would like to increase my ground clearance, but I do not want to go back to stock springs as they are too soft. Do Any companies make spring spacers to raise the car, or stiffer but stock height or even taller springs, or is my only option coil overs?
P4C, she's too low...
For the rear you can get 10mm spring pads 33531136387 but that's only 2.5 to 5mm difference. When my rear springs were broken I was able to cut some old conveyer belt material to fit under the spring. Gained 13mm, no idea what you could do in the front other than a taller spring
Does anyone make a stiffer than stock spring that is not shorter? Maybe I should have asked what people are doing for rally cross suspension?
You can actually get 22.5mm spring pads which might be enough.
The standard e36 motorsport springs are a little bit harder and a little bit (15mm) shorter than stock but they'll be nothing like your H&R springs.
