New day, new problem, today when i came to car i noticed something wrong on the left side of my bumper, i thought it was another parking hit accident but once i came closer i noticed a burned patch, its small patch maybe 5x4 cm maximum burned area, i dont have photo at the moment but i've marked i with the red on the example. Is there some kind of electrical wiring running there that could cause this kind of meltdown?
The only one I can think of is the one for the fog lights... up higher is a ground and also the part of the harness that splits into the aux fan, lights, and washer sensor, but they're in the engine bay, they shouldn't touch anything on the bumper...
There are a few things in that area. First that comes to mind is wiring for the side marker lights, but there's also some AC parts and other things. The bumper is easy to remove to check - carefully pry off the side trim strips and pull them forwards to remove. Unplug your fog lights and temperature sensor. Unscrew a round black plastic clip-like thing on each side of the bumper, under the trim strips. Then remove 4x 17mm bolts on the front and the bumper slides right off.
