While doing rear brakes I discovered both the brake pad sensor and the rear wheel speed sensor needed to be replaced. Brake pad sensor no problem, rear wheel speed sensor however was spliced- that's correct I said spliced. Question: do those rear wheel speed sensors meet somewhere in the middle say above the differential so that I can unplug it from there and then plug it into the new one I have, or what's the best way to tackle this situation? Yes I have a brand new one...
TIA

Does the new sensor have a connector on the end?

Yeah there's supposed to be a connector that sits in a little plastic box in each wheelwell. You open the plastic box and the connector pops out of that, then you disconnect, and, voila. Same box that the brake sensor connector snaps into on the wheel that has it.
If you're missing that body-side connector... it should be an easy junkyard pickup, cut out a nice long length, then re-do a high quality fresh splice and put the connector back in. You could also buy the factory connector socket depending on which solution is easier/faster/cheaper.
I was gonna link the pic here for the shot of the connector box, but the whole post is probably helpful. Aside from the spelling mistakes.

Thanks guys, yes the new wheel speed sensor has a new connector like you would expect brand new... just getting back to this but I understand that that piece is hardwired into the harness. I don't know if a junkyard is going to be that easy of a solution but I'm going to exhaust all avenues. I was hoping there's a connector under there somewhere where I could just buy a whole new piece, and then bring it out and plug in the new outer cable to it. I'll check out your post GG as well. I may just have to modify it and splice it with wire nuts and electrical tape or heat shrink and then electrical tape or not. Some f****** nincompoop probably couldn't get the old one apart and just cut it!

Dude. No wire nuts. That makes you no better than loserboy who screwed the car up for you.
Two avenues both legit.
QUALITY (not crap hardware store) butt splices. Or. Solder.
Either way heat shrink over then optionally can RTV the ends for extra sealyness.
Buy an assortment of these and a decent but affordable ratchet crimp tool and you won’t be a crap-splice-loser anymore.

Doing a real nice splice / repair job is satisfying and having the gear means from now on your wiring work will be 100x easier and better.

Dude you SO LUCKY a dudebro that I am so willing to use my amazing google-fu for you. I can't explain it really, just my amazing generosity and strength of character.
WDS says .5mm^2 wire

Which internet says is roughly 20AWG.
Now my suggesto to you would be, since you're paying shipping already, order one min-qty each package of red/blue/yellow butt splices, then order a ratchet crimper...

...and you'll be set next time regardless of the wire size. Maybe order a few more of the reds since it looks like you'll use the reds on this project.
Another pro-tip is to offset the splice for the 2 wires so the individual wire splices aren't side by side.
