e46 fueal pump relay

Hello, I was fixing my fuel pump and I notice that My relay is working fine but ground wire isn't working(idk how to say, not grounded maybe ). So a question, why he is black? Because almost all BMW ground wire is brown and where does he go? One Diagram shows that he goes to Splice pack (below battery tray) and then to ground. Thanks for Help!

This isn't anything to do with Car Audio, I suggest posting in the E46 section assuming that's the car you have and also checking/searching that section to see if a similar question has already been asked.
