radio power on off?

I need some help. I have a 2006 bmw 330i. The radio does not turn on anymore. when I turn the car on it powers up and dispays bmw then it shuts down. As I drive it continues to do this. Toggle switch is completely dead. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Is there anything I can do myself for this problem.

There's simply too many possible reasons for this that it's not going to be possible to directly fault find via the forums, it could be a loose connection somewhere, it might be one or more of the audio modules beginning to go faulty,, might be a faulty solder joint somewhere, the power button/switch electronics might be faulty/corroded... and so forth.

You could try to swap out all the audio modules with known working ones and see if that helps you pinpoint the issue or resolve it. You could have the car checked for any fault codes.

Talk to specialist car audio dealers who may try to fault find for a cheaper labour rate than BMW.
