Went to get rears rolled today & it turns out one of the previous owners had already done a partial roll on the rears so I will be test fitting the rims this weekend with 225s

Make sure you have hubcentric rings if they're original to the E36 chassis!

"Allows for the fitment of wheels with a 74.1mm center bore on vehicles with hubs that have a 72.56mm center bore."

    Then you don’t need them.

And you only need them anyways if they are off an E39. Rest is all 72,5mm.

Where would you put the spacers? You don’t need them up front and you don’t need them in the rear. You might want reverse spacers but obviously no such thing exists (perhaps a machine shop could cut a few mm off the wheel to hub mating surface if there is sufficient thickness).

Lol, the one thing you don’t need with low(er) ET wheels are spacers.

I have fairly newish brake pads. Just trying to be sure I clear the brakes. Definitely no on the spacers?

With lower than stock ET, wheel face is further from the calipers assuming same style flat face wheels (as opposed to some convex that reduce clearance to caliper compared to a flat face sheen with the same ET).

ET is totally independent from caliper clearance. Only a change in backpad height, or face shape will give more or less clearance. ET change has no influence.

OP, if you require spacers to clear your brakes, the wheels will be pushed out even further.

Make sure to get Z3 reinforcement plates. Cheap and work wonders.

Little update on the style 5s finally. Just got the faces back from the machine shop. I got the rear of the faces done to make them front mounted for easier fitment with more sidewall. Gonna be painting them alpine white when I get some good weather. Hopefully I can get the pictures up
