Hey my e60 530d with m57tud30 is keeping weird noise with warm engine, it always starts when engine is fully warm and it goes away if i give some revs
Ive checked injectors and there are no leaks and with ista injector test they all seems to be fine and with in range. Swirl flaps are remowed and engine runs perfect with no loss of oil or coolant.
Noise sounds like serpentine belt would be broken and it is hitting somewhere is sort of like slapping or ticking noise
And noise seems to be coming from near oil filter or under intake manifold.
When engine is cold then there is no noise.
People say that it could be a vacuum pump but i would think it could be something else Because it sounds like something else.
And this seems to be a common noise with this engine but i cant find any answers to this thing
Can anyone help me? Where should i start looking for a problem?
Sound have been there past 20 000 km and it havent gone any better or worse and oil change did not alter it
In this link you can here same noise (not my video)
https://youtu.be/7fVK3ovRojw
And this next is video from my car (i think you hear it better with headphones Because of my phones mic)
https://youtu.be/_0zSomNXt9k
As you can hear its not a continous noise or how can i say it its irregular
Any help thank you
What is the mileage on your 05 530d? When was the auxiliary drive belt (serpentine belt), idler pulley and belt tensioner assembly changed out?
Mileage is 346k now and serpentine belt have been changed about 40k ago tensioners and pulleys seems to be in fine condition and damper seems to be okey. Sound is coming from near oil filter not from serpentine belt or accessories
