headlight washer question

I finally have a working transmission, and the car back from a body shop after it was hit and ran...so just picking away at the low hanging fruit fixes...

Both my wiper nozzles leak so I took them apart cleaned them, put them back in...and...they still pour all over themselves...so ordered two new ones...

One pump functions, one doesn't, pump has power, so ordered a pump...


Headlight washers...the pump works and pushes out the nozzles when 12V is jumpered to the pump, but I can't get 12V to the pump...can anyone describe the sequence of events? I assume the lights have to be up, then, do they get power every so many cycles of the washer pump motors?

With the headlights ON - every fifth washer demand should fire up the headlight washers....
