i was thinking going 225 60 15 with Yokohama AVUS db over my stock wheels. Is this possible without bending fenders or shall i have a lesser aspect ratio.

If youre trying to squeeze any handling out of those 15" wheels... good luck. The ballon tires, as I call them, just suck. I know the feeling... I have the stock 15"s and its like driving on four waterbeds wrapped around each rim. Im going to play with my suspension first instead of getting new wheels... but you can do whatever suits you.
damn.... at my school we had competitions when it came to fixing up cars... my friend w/ an audi A4 jus' got 18" MAS Italy Presidents on his car... after that, he always called my 15's tires "truck tires"
Well soon afterwards, I too... got 18s... hehe :p

Instead of buying more 15" tires, here is a link at Turner Motorsports Classified for a nice set of 16's here in the Bay Area.

try a set of 225/50/15. lower profile and better for your speedometer calibration.
