    Bearing shell

    Hello to you all,
    Can someone tell me please, in realoem.com i can find two types of bearing shell on with 0 and one with +0.25, is this +0,25 when machining is needed?

    BMW sold std bearings and a slightly thicker version. But not like a .010 bearing you would use on machined crank. The bearings were marked with red or blue paint on the back. I think the blue bearings you could buy as a set, the red were sold individually. At least that's how it used to be. So we would give the tech both types and they would fit them then inside mic them and come back and let us know how many of each type they used on the mains and rods
