    Question ISTA-P "Correcton downshift behaviour"

    Hi!

    E61 530dA (M57TUD30 - ZF6HP21).

Can anyone tell me what the following function in ISTA-P does? I cannot find any reference to this in any documentation nor online.

BMW will add conversions to ISTA/P sometimes for drive ability concerns. Chances are there is a downshifting issue in certain climates or scenarios that are rectified on a case to case basis with programming.

E90 N52 cars had a similar issue. If you're not experiencing a downshifting issue, don't bother.
