Convertible Center cover cap

I need to find a replacement for the removable cap that covers the motor on the center of the windshield. It fell off and will not stay attached, It started when I had to help my soft top forward to lock in. I have a 2003 Z4,I have seen 2 different part numbers and the prices are unbelievable for such a small piece of black plastic. I have thought about using w sided tape to hold it up. Any ideas ?
