Hello everybody , im kinda stuk on a friends BMW 645ci 2004 4.4l v8
The Car had multiple oil leaks that i had to fix , also the valve cover on the passanger side was damaged and had to be replaced ....
Oil leaks that got fixed : Oil pan gasket , Upper timing cover gasket passanger side , all o-rings and gaskets that are invovled , Valve cover gaskets , and both Valve covers are new too,
also it got the new updated crankcase vent pipes ...
after all the work got performt and the oil leaks got fixed , the car started creating a very loud screaming whistle noise at idle cause by a very strong vacuum that build up in the crankcase ...
also the car dosent throw any codes and the rediness is completley set ... under higher rpm the noise disappears ( throttle opens and decrease the vacuum inside of the crankcase )
im not sure but logical the vaccum shouldnt be that high because why is the car equipped then with a vacuum pump for the brake booster .
hope anybody can help
(sry for my englich , definetly not a native speaker xD )
thank you already for any help or/and advice
The crankcase vacuum should be 30 millibars or so (not much at all) - so if you have more than that you have problems with the pressure control valves (CCV/PCV) and/or the pipe work. So, have a read of this, this will take you through the crankcase ventilation system:

damn , so i if that even fits for the n62 engine ... than they gave me the wrong parts because the pipve from the passanger side that goes directly into the intakemanifold has not pcv valve at all ... and i was already wondering all the time how it gets regulated ...
I'm guessing here but it sounds like you've been given the updated valve covers, to use these on a pre 06 car you'll need updated PCV vent tubes to go with it.
It certainly won't like having piping from the valve covers directly to the manifold without the PCV - there is a huge amount of vacuum available at the manifold at start-up.

We had a car somebody brought in had a new right valve cover without the new updated breather pipe which also had the PDF valve in it, ran poorly till it was replaced. If you ever look up parts and the main part number all so says in conjunction with that means the part numbers listed below the main part number are all so needed.
