    Be sure you both have the polarity AND blade direction correct. The blade unit on a lot of the aftermarket fans can be reversed and the blades are directional so they are supposed to spin one way obviously (leading edge / trailing edge thing). To reverse the fan (change from puller to pusher or vice verse) you both swap the polarity AND flip the fan blade around.

    The polarity is now changed. The blade direction was shipped as a puller fan. I cant believe I messed up this bad. After 5 electric fan installs I install one backwards and ignore that being the problem of overheating. Appreciate your help to my negligence.

    LOL. Props for honesty man! Too many guys would say “uh I found a wiring problem” and not fess up!

    The symptoms - reverse install fan was ok “sometimes” like when you were sitting still but when the Aux was NOT running, mostly fine at highway speeds... all exactly what you’d expect.
