The Check Engine light was coming on and the shop said they wanted to replace the throttle body because it was dirty.
But now I think the throttle body CE light is intermittent, anybody have an intermittent CE light after throttle body replacement?
Is a TB replace common for this vehicle?

From what I've read, this seems to be a known issue with the X5. If the throttle body was the issue, then when replacing the part and clearing the code with a BMW tool; there should no longer be a CEL at any point.
