    E38 7-Series M Parallel Rims on an 8 Series?

Will the BMW M Parallel Style 37 Rims from a 2001 740i fit on my 8 series 1997 840ci? I was told they have the same hub size???

They are the same hub size, and will fit.

Thank you! Do you know of any other series that will fit?

Just make sure to change the tires if the wheels come directly from an E38. They are slightly larger than E31 and will rub.

The e38 paras are the only ones which are a direct fit. You can bolt on e39s but you will need hub centric rings to avoid problems.

Check this site. There are a couple of other styles that will work. If the wheels have tires on them you'll need to check tire size as the E31s generally take a wider tire with less sidewall.

I've had the 7 series M Pars on my e31 for over a year. NO issues. To my ancient eyes, they are the best looking OE BMW rim for this model - look like the could/should have been OE.

It's E39 wheels you have to be aware off. They have a 74.1mm hub instead of most others' 72.5mm
