Didn't meet reserve at $16k, I think he wants too much money for it.
LMAO never mind look at this

$20k, I just don't see it with 225k miles on it, he wants too much. People picked out some of the car's faults in the BaT auction, that's not going to change on eBay, unless he gets someone ignorant with a bunch of money to spend.
The mileage would not be so much of a concern if the head has been rebuilt (cheap insurance) and a fahey crank hub installed. If the car were in 7.5-8/10 shape and had 225k, $25k is not out of the question but that simply is not the case.
Other issues:
Minor accident that shows on report
Incorrectly installed fuse box
Central Locking intermittent fault
Tach intermittent fault
Wiper/Highbeam fault
Needs suspension work
Seatbelt receivers cracked
No trunk carpeting
Heater fault
Rear end "flutter" on standing start
And throttle lag with a cold engine
Also some minor surface rust.
That said, if the seller wants to make a realistic deal, Im interested.

Yep, i wasn't going to type all of that out, but I just can't see it being over $15k in the current condition.
Have a '88 M5 to sell. Restoration required. Clean title. 2nd owner, 1st owner - approx. 9800 miles; now, has 189K. Needs paint, suspension, tie rods most likely. Located in MD, best offer. Buyer responsible for towing/hauling to desired location.
