    MaxPSI Intake Boot Fitment

    Hey y'all.

I just received my MaxPSI Intake Boot and it's super sturdy, but I'm curious about everyone's fitment to the throttle body. Mine doesn't fit snugly at all on to the TB, and I'm not sure if people just put a hose clamp on there and call it good?

For context, I have an M50 throttle body

Here's a picture of it sitting offset on the TB to show how much slop is in it.

I use the Mishi stock style silicone boot. Fits snuggly, just blocked one of the two ports on the bottom off

But no it should fit flush and I wouldn't trust that. I would landline max psi and ask and see what they say. I think they have decent customer support - Or you could get a rubber grommet to go around the TB to fill the space.

I use grommets from spectre T bolt clamps (advance auto) on the 3 inch side of the mishi boot because I had the same problem. The seal is almost 'too' good with it:

Cool, thank you! I emailed them, but probably won't get a response until Monday. They apparently don't have a phone number

I'm here to report back that the guys at MaxPSI informed me that the fitment was normal since the throttle body is a hair smaller than 3". They advised that we just use a t-bolt clamp to hold that sucker on.
