I guess it’ll get more difficult/tedious when it comes to finishing the wire tucking and coding

Love the handling, the power is pretty good in stock form and reminds me of the 6.0ti but way smoother, 22mpg untuned. Raced a 370z in Texas, walked away from it. Intake temps were always 6-10* above ambient. Had a roller pulley fail in New Mexico, caught it before it chucked the belt and replaced it with one from an f250. Brakes are phenomenal. Suspension damping and response feel better than the 6.0 as well even though they’re built exactly the same except for the control arm bushings and rack ratio.

Idrive, navigation, and audio worked perfectly, though navigation was a touch slow to find directions but always auto updated and had live traffic data.

Overall I’m extremely pleased with it. I do want to change the muffler to see if I can get a different sound or install the actuators to get a quieter sound.

I wanted to find out where you got those front rotors too. I'm looking currently for originals for my ti now...

Do you know if the Turner aftermarket steel can be mated to the original aluminum hub? I ask because there's two used left ones on ebay now, although that gets expensive when all said and done.

If you have a stash, we need to talk!

I bought mine used from some race team throwing them away. i think i paid like 50$ for the pair. Otherwise, i have no idea how to press them apart without destroying them to replace the disc. It all made a huge difference though. I saved about 8-10# per corner over stock and solid 17# over the old m3 brake and rims combo. Even with the heavier sumitomo 245 and 295 tires, it was a major weight savings. Rim alone are still 5# lighter than my ASA Ar1 and almost 9# lighter than the style 164 135i rims.

The rotors are bolted together I thought... if riveted I could cut them out and tap the holes...

But those original M hats are hard to locate and the rotors are discontinued. Imagine you have an original GT in Europe and now you can’t get rotors?

    That sucks!

They are NLA as genuine parts. I think Turner has the OEM ones, and they are expensive.

I may have found a set slightly more reasonably priced, I'm working that deal now actually...

That's sweet! Can you detail exactly what adapters you used? I can't seem to get the pics to work anymore. I'm seriously looking at a CF 1 piece driveshaft for my new build. And did you mess about trying to optimize engine/transmission output : diff input angles or did you just luck out?
