Besides engine and trans mounts, what has been the hardest issue to solve? Seems like you took the entire body harness over, did you bring every single module too? That seems to be the only way to have a functional n54 swap, unless you go for one of the very expensive standalone options.
Honestly, none of it has been difficult. Just takes a lot of forethought, and patience not to cut stuff. The most difficult is tightening the crank bolt while it’s outside the chassis, it doesn’t want to twist lol. I guess it’ll get more difficult/tedious when it comes to finishing the wire tucking and coding

I have those Magnesium wheels on my C5 Corvette, they're a stylish and very lightweight piece. More commonly known as "the N73 option" in case anyone is curious. Can't wait to see them on your car.

Compared to a lot of bmw rims, theyre very light. I weighed my style 264 18x7.5/8.5, theyre both 26.5lbs each. my BBS Ch were no better, plus a heavier tire. I just need to strip the red stripe someone painted on the rims off, i dont like it.

Making awesome progress! These N54/55 swaps are taking over. Great bang for the buck.

How come I was concerned if a 255 would fit?!!! :-)

Really nice work on the exhaust...that is a lot of effort!
