    750Li xDrive F02 2013 M rough gear upshift from 3-4-5

    Hello team,

    My 750Li xDrive F02 M upshifts very abruptly, ONLY between gears 3-4-5, and ONLY upshifting. Downshifting is smooth, as well as the rest of gears 0-1-2 and 6-7-8.

    To isolate the issue, I also tested the manual shift - result - same gears create the same "clunk", like a strong shake - pretty rough.
    When starting a new drive, I always wait a few seconds after I put in drive, before I release the break, to drive away, just to allow enough time for the clutch to engage completely.

    It feels like the clutch is abruptly engaging between gears 3-4-5, but I have no explanation.
    I looked up as much info as I could, related to:

    1.Transmission software upgrade - I have the OBD2 K+DCAN cable and the BMW coding V3, but I could not figure out how to get the current transmission SW version in INPA or ISTA (mostly due to German version)
    2.Transmission fluid replacement - The dealer would charge about 450-500 (labor+fluid) - why only 4-5-6 and why only upshifting?
    3.Guibo replacement - if that is the case, why only 4-5-6 and only upshifting?

    It is hard to eliminate one or the other from my list, as only gears 4-5-6 are having the problem, and only upshifting?
    If it was HW, then downshifting should also be rough, what do you think?

    Please pitch in at your earliest convenience, all and any input is valuable and appreciated, before I go and spend $ on diagnostic at the dealer, just to hear that it could be anything, and they need to try all of the above.

    Pressure seals between the valve body but some body should look at adaptation numbers see where there at, faults? As far as programimg the whole car could probably use an software up date, I would use Ista. Which is the factory dx and programimg tool.

    Can I read the adaptation values with any of the tools existing in BMW coding V3 and post them here after retrieval? Where do I find the adaptation values, with what tool available in BMW coding V3?
    For the software update - I have ISTA Rheingold, but I was unable to figure out (after researching online) how to retrieve the current software version, and then find the latest version to upgrade.
    Any tips for reading the current version and maybe finding the latest version?
