Thread: ASC light always on. What could be the problem?

    There's a small pump and hydraulic pressure accumulator, plus a bunch of valves. It's like a proprietary ABS but for the rear wheels alone.

    So what are your blink codes?

    Is it also possible that the ASC/ABS systems does not work if your brake fluid (not the pentosin) is contaminated with water and/or has air in the system. Can't say if the ASC/ABS indicator will light up under such condition but in my car it made the system useless and inoperative. Action: change brake fluid and make sure that there is no air in the brake system.

    @alex840 Man I hope you didn't pay a lot! Got a cheap-o one on eBay for twenty Dollars and it worked like a charm to clear that code!
