Tire Rubber on Q-panel. How to remove?

    Q.jpg

So I did some bumpin' & rubbin' with a delivery truck out on the freeway (asshat was trying to drive the shoulder to cut in line farther ahead...) and was left with some tire on my paint. What's a safe way to remove it? Acetone, maybe?

*And before anyone questions why I didn't go with an accident report and his insurance, it would have been hard for them to decide anything but a "no-fault" accident. So it wasn't worth the time and effort.

You are absolutely correct, sir! Unfortunately for me, removing the little rubber that there was revealed that my biggest issue is that the paint was burned off. So, off to the paint shop!

Thanks for the reply and suggestion.

Next time let the asshat in. Not worth the trouble.

Good luck with the paint repair.
