E36 voltage feeding amplifier

Trying to diagnose no sound problem with original 94 325i Sedan. Checked voltage feeding amplifier as 12 volts (#1 in socket, red/white wire). Checked voltage for Remote Turn On as 10.5 volts (#2 in socket, white wife). Is this lower voltage sufficient to turn on the amplifier? I have purchased a new relay which feeds both the amplifier and rear window defroster. I'm unsure where the Remote Turn On is fed from.

Any help appreciated.

The remote turn on signal comes from the head unit.

Is the approx. 10.5 volts sufficient to power the amp for radio?

Depends on the amp.

It is the factory Hi Fi Amp, not HK version.
