e46 no connection to DDE and EGS

So i have an e46 330d 2002model.

I have problem getting the car to start, but when i hook up my diagnostic equipment i cant get connected to DDE or EGS module. Everything else is connected.
Its a while since i last had to work on e46, but i seem to remember that the voltage on the diagnostic connection could get interference from the K-BUS.
When i meassure voltage from pin 7 to 5 i get 12v.
When i meassure voltage from pin 8 to 5 i get 3.5v.
This cant be right? Values are with cable connected. I get no voltage when cable is disconnected.
So i tryed disconnecting wires one at a time in the K-BUS over the glovebox. Purple and white wires . Still not getting the voltage up. is there another place i can disconect also ?


So my cable has soldered pin 7 and 8 . I tryed with ISTA. DIS and INPA. All works good except cant get connected to DDE or EGS.
Also tested regular kdcan cable without soldered pins but no connection. Often get that with e46 and e39.

I suspect that the no start has to do with leaking injectors but i need diagnostic to work so i can start solving this problem.

The problem was the + cable under the carpet.
