So another day went on.. decided to cut out and buy replacement's. It should be a 16 hour job. But now it seems that my bottom is also weak.. turning in to a 30hour job.

    More updates later

    Progress:

    - New 17" Immitation Alpina's with new Nangkang NS2R's 120 TW & 180 TW in the back (more stiff rubber, less wear)
    - Rockerpanel is in on the other side!
    - New (2nd hand) KW suspension with Eibach springs

So! That was a lovely day. The E36 with the new setup. Really a huge difference from the standard M-tech shocks and springs to my new set: KW and Eibach.

    Tires:
    Front tyres 17" NANGKANG NS2-R TW 120
    Rear tyres 17" NANGKANG NS2-R TW 180

It's a huge difference in grip. It's much worse than the 15" Toyo R888r that I drove before.. so I need to change to full slicks because this trackday was fun but not good (grip wise)

So in order to fix the no grip issue:

    - Bought 12 used track tyres from a local racing team.
    - Bought M wheels 17" 7&7.5J and 225/45/17 semi slicks comparing to TOYO R888 but produced by the DNRT Dutch national racing team.
    - Bought 4 jackstands to make my life better!

    Hi everyone,

    It's been quiet some time. I've driven 4 more trackdays, and the E36 keeps it together. I've seen some new issues on the track;

    - the hood came up (right window side), seems theres a bold broken.

    - with hard driving the E36 seems to brake fade.

Below some photos of the E36 hood body repair.

So the 2nd issue was the brake fading. This was getting scary at the Zandvoort straight! As you can see, the standard brakepads lasted 7 trackdays, and approx 12x30minute races! Haha.. damn.

    NEW UPGRADE:
I've found a E46 330CI 2003 brake set. Slutted and perforated disks, stock brake pads.

I've put a new color on and fited the brake calipers on the stock mounts. Amazing that this went so, super easy !

Any change in the brake pedal feel going to the 330i brakes? Assuming you kept the same brake master cylinder...

Those wheels are AT Italia replicas of OEM bmw wheel and are super heavy, you will benefit from lighter alloys.
