    Welcome to the forum.

Obviously, you need to recheck your work. Did you tighten the 8mm nuts which hold the coil grounds in place? And, um, let's clarify what you mean by "changed the exhaust vanos". The exhaust vanos unit lives under the valvecover, and requires removal of the timing chains, and retiming the engine. Is that what you did, or did you just replace the solenoid?

You need to know that these coils are very difficult to plug in. You cannot rely on the pivoting part to properly engage the plug to the coil. Press the plug hard into the coil while pivoting the clasp.

I hope that you bought quality, OEM coils, and the correct OEM plugs?

I check all connections and still had a misfire on 4, I swapped an old coil with the new one, running great. I must of gotten a bad coil (bosch), I will have to return it. No codes anymore, and my vanos exhaust solenoid code is gone. thanks for you help.
