Hi folks,
Its been a while but wanted to share that if anybody is interested, I am helping Fernando's family sell his 2001 E39 525 Touring that he used to own. The family needs to sell off some things and hope this car that he lovingly owned and cared for can go to a good family. If you were fortunate enough to have known my very special friend Fernando, you would know that he took very good care of his cars and you would know you would be getting one heck of a car because of it. I am posting on this forum because most that knew him know that he also owned a great 1986 white 635 that he converted into a Euro model, with the most recent work being installing an M90 engine and 5 speed conversion. That car will be available soon, but in the meantime, the E39 Touring is available now. I will also post on the E39 forums but wanted to post here for his E24 friends to see first.
Other E24 parts will become available soon also such as a a front airdam, rear clip/valance for a Euro and trunklid. Watch for those soon.
As the Ebay listing describes, the E39 Touring comes with two sets of mounted wheels, snows and summer along with a tire rack for your garage to store the set.
Here is the Ebay link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2001-BMW-5-...1bUMFr&vxp=mtr
If anybody is interested, please contact me and I will let the family know.

Nice that you are helping out Jody. Great looking car.
All,
Thanks to all that were interested. The car has been sold and happy to say that it has gone to a wonderful member of this community here in CT. I won't say who it is unless the new owner wants to chime in.
Next up will be his 1986 Alpine white E24, Euro conversion with M90 engine and 5 speed conversion. Black interior, sports seats, Nardi steering wheel.
Cheers!

The car is in my care now. I am deeply saddened by the circumstances by which I acquired the car and only wish I could have shaken Fernando's hand. He was a good man and I had the pleasure of meeting him a number of years ago. He left too early.

Thank you for chiming in James. It was very nice to meet you. I am sure Fernando would be very happy to have you as the new caretaker of his car. I'm very honored to have put you and the car together. yes, way too soon.
Cheers my friend.
