Just trying to figure out how many miles people got out of a superchargered e39 540i after the SC install.

I recently bought a 540i for 2g's with 173k miles with all original parts. The owner took great care of it but did nothing to it which is why I got it for 2k. I've already replaced alot in it.
Oil pan gasket (upper and lower)
Alternator gasket
Valve cover gasket
Crank case gasket
Crank case gasket upper
Water pump gasket
Timing chain
Timing chain guides upper and lower
Oil chain
Timing chain tensioner
Camshaft positioning sensors
Fan clutch
Temperature sensor
So it's in good shape and it was good before beside the plastic laying in the oil pan for who knows how long.
But I really want more power out of the car and I was looking at installing a SC but I wanted to see what everyone thinks of doing this at 173k miles.

There's nothing inherently wrong with doing that. If the engine is in good condition, it will love (properly done) boost.
Okay that's good to hear. I'm confident in my abilities to install the supercharger myself as all the previous work that's been done was done in my driveway. But as far as the tuning goes I'm pretty lost there.

Hell yeah I'd buy a new one. I don't see the problem with that, the cars in good shape and I already put 2k into after buying it for 2k. Gotta start somewhere.

Well I'm a really quick learner did all the stated work above via internet research and youtube videos never working on or owning a BMW before. Im sure a brand new Supercharger for $5-6k on the car is gone be badass. This is my first car so I've never done it before, needless to say I'm excited. Cant be that hard.
If you interested I am going to sell my Supercharger with 2 options:
1. VF SC 3.25" full set with pulley (9psi) + Methanol injectors + 440cc Bosch green giants + AFR + AEM never used 320l/h Fuel Pump + EGT sensor = 4000$ (stage 2 tuned ECU from FRANK SMITH for free)
2. VF SC 3.25" full set with pulley + 330cc injectors = 3000 (additionaly 300 USD for FRANK SMITH stage 2 tune)
e39 540i 6speed Supercharged,
E36 v8 m62 with m60 headers, Turbp HX-40 0.6-0.5bar or 9psi, custom exhaust & Turbo manifold, injectors 440cc, ECU Invent EMS-2, Mishimoto Intercooler and oilcooler, etc…

Just have a look on 1st option. Almost all of them you will have to buy emideately and some of them after couple of monthes of driving. Becouse you will want a bit more boost and accelarations))))
1. AEM methinjector costs 450$.
2. Bosch green giants will cost 450$.
3. Fuel pump AEM is cost 100$
4. AEM AFR 175$
5. EGT 50$ minimum.
6. TTFS Frank Smith tune 800$.
7. Small costume pulley 3.25" 100$
8. Modified bypass valves in intake manifold.
9. Pressure gauge 50$.

I,m running a M62 with a roots blower Jaguar toolman kind of build over a year now can't give mileage as I'm not at home but super happy at the moment.
