    Car Cover

I don't want to pay retail for a fitted car cover, so I am looking to asking if there's anyone who wants to sell their car cover. My Roady is underneath a car port, so I need a decent cover to keep sun off the car but durable enough to keep rain off although it does not need to be totally waterproof (if there is such a cover). Any help will be appreciated. Please PM me if you have one f/s. Thanks

Hey Morrie - Just came across this on CL: https://dayton.craigslist.org/pts/d/...643970737.html.

Seems to be a reasonable deal if the seller would be willing to ship.

That Noah (OEM?) car cover as listed in craigslist is the best in my opinion - I have went through a brand new one of those, then tried one from bavauto which shredded - then I went back to Noah (used - and kind of ratty now with holes) - Noah is not waterproof but works well -breathes - before I had a garage I would keep it out with that in New England with no cover. I use it now to protect the car in sun when parked at work - at least when the car is clean - which is rare these days I am sorry to admit - now it mostly resides in my trunk as a buffer for movement of things placed there..

What car cover did you end up purchasing? I have the same question you had. My Z3 is under a carport, but I would like to protect it in the winter months. Can you suggest a good car cover? Thanks!

First of all, you don’t want a waterproof cover. It has to breathe. You don’t want moisture trapped under it.

I’ve gone through two factory covers. Both fell apart after about 3 years.

I got one with my new Z4 that I will give you very cheap if it will fit your car. It is from carcovers.com. Comes with free storage bag as well.

Anyone know of a good cover for the coupe that allows space for the antenna (on top the car towards the back, center)?
