E46 turn signal \ headlight issues

So i just bought a 2001 bmw 330ci convertible. Im having a few issues and thought maybe you guys could help.

The previous owner installed hid headlights and led turn signlas on the front fenders.

The hid headlights sometimes will not start up, i have been solving this temporarily by turning them off for a few seconds and turning back on, any ideas What this could be?

Secondly. The left fender led signal will randomly flash when the headlights are on, what do i need to look for to solve this?

Go to bimmer.work to see what headlights the car came with. Yes, it’s a real website. I’m guessing the PO installed aftermarket HIDs and didn’t code the light control module (LKM in BMWspeak) for them. The LKM module is in the dash to the left of the steering wheel. That’d account for the LED flashing. Your best bet is to find a set of used OEM headlights that match the car’s configuration per the bimmer.work website.
