    Electrical issue

    Anyone got any idea of why my e87 cuts all electric when driving had it charged 2 days ago and my speedo is flickering on and off while driving showing all lights it did this last week and then ended up cutting all power couldn’t turn car off no power stearing etc had to charge battery will diagnostic shown problem?

    Yes, that is what I was going to suggest. Pulling the codes should give you a definitive answer as to where the issue is coming from.

    Nice will try that first wasn’t sure if it would be able to tell you what’s draining it or connection as no lights on dash just everyrhing electric is just flickering on and off

    I suspect battery is failing, causing all BMW modules to spasm.
    Have battery TESTED, along with alternator charging system, as one may have caused the failure of the other.

    Have just brought a new agm battery and put it in the car problems stil there can not find the problem

    Ok, that's verified for now,
    but you should obtain a multimeter for future additional tests.
    Like alternator charging voltages: Engine off - Engine on: at idle-2000RPM-3000RPM

    A diagnostic scan for BMW codes, as mentioned above should be performed.

    Inspect all red positive battery cable connections for tightness,
    along with all negative engine grounds.

    Check DME location for damage or dampness.
