Hey All,
I've decided to list up my pride, the decision has not been very easy on me but i'm just not into it as much as I used to be so here are the details:
2001 BMW 540i/6 speed
Clean Title (4th owner I believe)
California/Oregon Car, NO RUST
Roughly at 176k miles (and going up as I still drive it occasionally)
Body is nearly flawless, minor dings and small scratches nothing major (8/10)
Interior is also nearly flawless, no tears in the black leather, normal wear, no cracks other than some small spots in the wood trim (8/10)
Every single feature on the car works, nothing is inoperable EXCEPT for one of the small window rear shades that does not retract. No check engine lights, no SRS lights, brake lights, airbag lights, DSC works 100%, no tamper dots, no OBC warnings for lights, etc.
Maintenance within the past 10K miles:
Valve Cover Gaskets
Timing Cover Gaskets
Oil Pan
Chain Tensioner
Upper/Lower Rad. Hoses
88C thermostat
Expansion Tank
Brake Motive Slotted Cross Drilled Rotors + New Brake Pads
Battery
Serpentine Belt
Upper and Lower Control Arms
Tie Rod Ends
Center Link
Tires (Less than 1K miles)
Intake Manifold Gaskets
Spark Plugs
Rebuilt Sun Roof Guides
(+More) - I have receipts for EVERYTHING
Alignment (only 3 weeks old)
Mods:
M5 Fender Liners
Polished E39 Spec M-Pars
15MM Spacers F. 10MM Spacers R.
OEM M5 rear bumper
Aftermarket Front M5 Bumper
Muffler Delete
High Flow Resonator
BC Racing Extreme Drop Coilovers
Face Lift Sport Steering Wheel
ZHP Shift Knob
Black Powder Coated M60 Intake Manifold
DUDMD Tune
Chrome Cluster Rings
M5 Style Trunk Lip
Extra Features:
Comfort Seats
Split Folding Rear Seats
Heated Seats
Ski Passthrough + Bag
Electric Rear Blind Shade
Rear Side Sun Blinds
Navigation (that works with upgraded DVD computer)
The car of course runs and drivers perfectly, has no signs of a slipping clutch, or guide failure. The guides have not been replaced. I do not have any aggressive camber so you won't ever worry about ruining another set of tires!
I'm confident in the mechanical and electrical reliability of the car and still occasionally take it on long spirited trips and small road trips. I would have absolutely NO DOUBT that somebody could road trip this car home across the country.
Anyways sorry for the long post, I figured real enthusiasts would appreciate the detail more than someone skimming Craigslist for their next beater. I don't expect to sell the car anytime soon and fully expect to have this up for the next several months for the right buyer. If I missed out on anything feel free to reach out and PM me.

I am in no dire need to sell the car, but I am willing to meet up in most any parts of OR and or WA for serious buyers. I appreciate any offers or interest on the car but i'm pretty firm on the price. If I don't sell it for my asking price then I really have no desire to get rid of it and would be more than happy to keep it.
