    Disable 4 wheel drive

    Is it possible to take an Xi version and disable or disconnect the front wheel drive aspect?
    Basically turn it into a rear wheel drive.

    I actually just ran my '06 530xi as RWD for 2 days. If you pull the fuse for the "Transfer Box" 4x4 will no longer work. No idea if anything else gets disabled or could be damaged from long-term use though. Why do you want to go RWD only?
