E30/E46 rear half axles?

Will E46 rear half axles fir an E30? I know that the E46's are different sizes but I have a couple (same side/size) E46 half axles laying around and my E30 project needs both replaced. I'm hoping I can just pop in the ones I have. Thanks

UPDATE - The outer joint/spindles are different. But the good news is that the inner bearing assembly is the same!! So I plan on using the E46 inner bearing on the E30 shaft.

Also, on mine, the E46 shaft is hollow and the E30 is solid. I think these are original but am not 100%.

I am trying to find out how to service the outer joint and if those bearing are the same between the two as well.
