So have a 07 E92, went to replace the oil filter housing gaskets. Did all the work put it together. Started the car, ran fine, took it for a ride and my check engine light came on and car went into limp mode. Scanned it and its giving me code P0326. This is for the knock sensors. They plug in right under the intake manifold so at first I thought maybe when I took the intake manifold off for the OFHG I accidently disconnected it. SO I pulled everything back apart and do not see anything wrong. Is there any way to test theses sensors to see if they need to be replaced. I did not have this problem before I did the OFHG so not sure what I did wrong.
Step 1 is to get a BMW-capable scanner and pull the real code(s).
For future posts, it would help to know what engine you have.
Are you gonna eat that?
I am with you the generic scanner should be good for that error, if it is one that will also clear the codes do that first. After doing the maintenance you described there is a chance it was a false code. If it comes back then worry about it.... I could tell what engine you have from your first post at the top.... and the fact that your heading info tells what engine you have. I believe all 335's are N54's......

Certainly rechecking your work is the first step, can the wires be crossed, if they were would it matter.
So yeah originally when I got the code I cleared the code drove it another .5 miles and code came back on. I ripped the entire intake manifold off and I don't see anything wrong? Does anyone know how to test the sensors to verify they are working correctly. I was just going to order new knock sensors and throw them in and see if that fixed my problem but new sensors are 150+. Kind of at a stand still...
Here is an article on how to test the sensors.

Can you access the sensor connectors to check that the pins are intact and not damaged or being pushed back into their housing when connected? It’s odd the problem shows up immediately after the repair.
