Oil Separator behind Guide Rail

I've looked at previous posts and they don't seem to show where the neck of the OS meets the connection point. Mine just doesn't line up right; unless I received a bad part. I've placed it in the right spot and it fits without the connector on, but doesn't line up with the end point. See pictures. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong here? Hi Jerry, I took your picture and made few notes:

You basically fitted new end of the oil separator to the old one. Take the old one out.

Wow! Like I was saying, I didn't see any previous posts that explained this. If its that simple you have made my day. Thanks for the reply and I'll let you know how it turned out.

Thanks to Ruskii for great instruction on how to install Oil Separator. 5 minutes after knowing how to connect the darn thing.
