Hi all. I was making good progress removing everything needed to drop the glove box for a cabin filter change (even got the glove box light working again), but then I got stumped by the small clip holding the strut/absorber. How exactly do you get it off??? I tried four types of flat screwdrivers and could not get it to move! Please help Thanks!

Use a small flat head screwdriver and carefully push down on the clip towards the floor. It's similar to the clips used for the hood shocks.
Edit:
Just noticed your note on the flat head you used. I would try to use two small ones on each side and push down. Keeping the pressure applied evenly may help.

Thanks for the tip I tried that on the upper clip and it worked! I had to use the smallest screwdriver and roll a cloth around it for leverage.
As is often the case with these cars, the cabin air filter probably was never changed...
