    England parts availability vs USA

I am visiting England in a week or so. Are there parts available there which may be much more difficult to locate in the US? 1995 840Ci. I need the TRW shocks but you cannot put those in your checked baggage. This may be too broad of a question. If so, my humble apology.

Euro FTP strips (smoked lenses) are not available in the US as they do not meet the DOT specifications. But, they are a great upgrade.

Thank you all! I am busy researching all of these suggestions. Although I highly doubt I can squeeze a headliner into my checked baggage. Getting thru Brit security is tough enough already. Last time thru I learned that not only do you need to have your liquids in a clear plastic bag but it darn well better be the exact right size of plastic bag. jeez!
I think the mirrors and tinted lenses will wait for a future trip since the car is presently a fine example of automotive patina and has yet to earn any appearance upgrades. With that said, I now need to learn the British equivalent of craigslist to watch for used items such as mirrors - lenses are probably best new.
Like all things 8 I am having to read and then read more about springs etc. I have not cleared my confusion on what appears to be people using the same springs in front for V8 or V12. I would have expected a slight difference. A couple more dozen searches and I am sure to understand.

Thank you Timm. I will be over near East Grinstead. Would be great to buy you pint some day for all that you do. I make the trip a couple/few times a year. Maybe we can figure out how to say hello on one of those trips. Let me know if you need any American kit brought your way.

I probably should have said Crawley as opposed to East Grinstead. I really don't have a feel for what places are big enough to be familiar.
