New user, just added an '86 325 to my stable.
I only found 1 thread regarding shocks. I believe my car has its original suspension and its a little bouncy. I am torn between Bilstein B4 and B6 as replacement, may also consider the Koni STR.T line. I am planning to keep the stock springs. The car may see some novice autocross by my son, but if he takes to it and gets good, I'll let him use my 1M, so I don't want Koni yellows.
What are your thoughts?
Hello and welcome to the forum! B4s and B6s are both excellent choices; the B6s are quite a bit stiffer than the B4s. If your son will in fact be doing some autocross, I'd go with the B6s just to give it more potential. Just my 2 cents, other members will likely chime in with their expertise as well. Best of luck.

For a stock B4s are very nice although I've become a Kong fan so would highly suggest the STR...if you can get them.

Thanks for the input. I think I've narrowed it down to STR.T or B4 . . . may come down to availability and price.
