    Dash Lights

    Notice the dim 80-100 area and dim 4. Can anyone confirm if there is a bulb out? And which one? Or is this something else? Thanks

    The car is an E36. I’m betting there are several light emitting diodes (LEDs) out.

    often - this is due to de-lamination on the cluster face or surface. if you do a search, there are numerous threads on this issue. the gauge area is lit by 3 bulbs (iirc) - no LEDs in that area I don't think.

    No led's in that car unless the PO put them in.

    The E46 started with the LED's Marc.

    The weird thing is that it just kind of appeared. Is de-lamination an instant thing or gradual? Because this seemed instantaneous. Also I've read people experience this and then it goes back to normal? Thoughts?
