1st time doing a HG. Ever
Is this clean enough? Particularly, the spotting? I can barely feel it when I run my finger across it. Leave your advice and tips below! Thanks

USe a wire wheel on a drill it will come out spotless. Don't worry you won't damage the surface or piston heads. All you want to do it get the carbon build up off. You will just need to turn the crank shaft to bring the pistons to TDC for the ones that sitting into the cylinger wall.To make it easier remove the paper you have stuck in all the holes. You can blow them out with air once you're ready to assemble. note: to prevent hydrolock and to have proper torque specification on the head the bolt holes MUST be clear of fluid and debris. Compressed air from an air compressor is ideal.
Lastly : DONOT use Victor Rienz head gasket. I've done a few of these and only found out afterward they do sweat oil near the front of the block between the head and block. Spend a bit more money but get a good one that seals properly.
