91 320 Cabrio. M20
1st time changing a head gasket. Not sure how much more I need to clean this up before reassembly. Particularly, the spotting ( left from the metal gasket?). Advice is appreciated! [ATTACH]633614

just use a straight flat scraper and peel up anything you can get up. it doesn't have to look like a newly machined surface, but does need to be smooth. those marks might not come off but as long as they are flat, you are good
