I have a 2008 528xi and I have some noise coming from the rear. it sounds like the rpm is high or it's holding a gear but the transmission is shifting fine. has anyone else run into this problem.

Mileage? Lift it up, spin/feel the wheel bearings. Check rear fluids.

I had a rear wheel bearing go on my 08 535xit at around 100k miles. It was loud from the rear. I thought it was worn snow tire noise but when I changed back to summer wheels the noise was still there.
