I recently replaced the original convertible top. The tech said the front seal needed to be replaced. Not sure why, as it was sealing good before and not leaking. Anyway, I didn't and when it rains it leaks at the top of the a-pillars on both sides where the top meets the a-pillars. I noticed on the passenger side that the top of the a-pillar does not meet the top. There is a gap of a 1/4 inch or so. Anyway, I replaced the front top seal (man was that pricey! About $300). The seal is much better on the drivers side but I still have a considerable gap on the passenger side and it leaks. Is there a way to adjust that side forward to close the gap and get this buttoned up?
Thanks in advance!

Yes. The entire assembly sits on shins. To you remove your passenger side lateral panel to access the horizontal shims. You will need to loosen up the vertical bolts when you remove a couple of horizontal shims to allow the assemble to move forward. PM me if you want more detailed info
